Injuries, Sprains & Fractures

Back Injury & Strain Treatment

Evaluation and pain management for acute back strain and work injuries. Walk in to any of our three Roanoke Valley clinics — no appointment needed.

Overview

What it is

Most sudden back pain is a muscle or ligament strain — from lifting, twisting, a hard workout, or an awkward night's sleep — and it heals, usually within days to a couple of weeks. The challenge is that a small number of back problems are serious, and telling them apart early is exactly what an evaluation is for. Work-related back injuries are also handled here, including the documentation your employer needs.
