Express Family Care is a walk-in care clinic located in Roanoke, VA in the Kroger Square Shopping Center. We are open 6 days a week with extended hours and no appointments are ever needed. We accept most major insurance plans and also have affordable prices for those who wish to pay out of pocket. We are locally owned and operated by an Emergency Room Physician. OUR HISTORY
In 2013, Dr. David B. Alligood had a vision: to establish the best Urgent Care practice in the Roanoke Valley. In late August of 2013, that vision began to unfold in the Bonsack area of Roanoke. The office space was obtained in the Kroger Square Shopping Center, the center was outfitted for Urgent Care, a top-notch staff was hired, and on Dec 30, 2013 we had the privilege of caring for our very first patient. EFC Urgent Care steadily grew in volume and less than 3 years later we expanded into the adjacent space, and in 2022 we added our Cave Spring location.
Utilizing our years of Emergency Medicine experience, we have been able to care for many patients and have keep many of the patients out of the Emergency Room.
